1About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [Company legal name] ("TicketQuill", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using our website and services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use TicketQuill.
2What TicketQuill does
TicketQuill is a platform that connects event organisers with attendees. Organisers create and run their own events. Unless we clearly say otherwise, we are not the organiser of any event listed on TicketQuill, and the organiser is responsible for the event, including its content, safety, quality and whether it goes ahead.
3Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy tickets.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account.
4Buying tickets
- Ticket prices and any fees are shown before you pay.
- Your order is confirmed only after payment is successfully verified, or straight away for free tickets.
- Each ticket has a unique code. Keep it private, as anyone with the code may be able to use it.
- Tickets are for your own use. You may not copy, forge or resell tickets in a way the organiser or the law does not allow.
- The organiser may refuse entry if a ticket is invalid or if rules for the event are broken.
Always check the event page for the date, time, venue, age limits and any conditions set by the organiser before you buy.
5Payments
Payments are handled by third-party payment providers. By paying, you also agree to the provider's terms. We do not store your full card details. If a payment fails or cannot be verified, the order may be cancelled and no ticket issued.
6Cancellations and refunds
Unless the law says otherwise, tickets are non-refundable after purchase except where the organiser's refund policy allows it. If an event is cancelled, the organiser is responsible for refunds, and we will help where we can. See our Refund policy for details.
7Terms for organisers
If you create events on TicketQuill, you also agree to the following:
- You will publish accurate event details and update them if anything important changes.
- You have the right to hold the event and sell tickets, and you hold all permits and permissions needed.
- You will deliver the event as described, or tell attendees and arrange refunds if it changes or is cancelled.
- You are responsible for the safety of your attendees and for following all applicable laws.
- Fees, plans and payout timing are described on our Plans and pricing page and may be updated with notice.
- You will handle attendee data you receive in line with data protection law and use it only to run your event.
8What you must not do
- Use TicketQuill for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading.
- List events that are illegal, dangerous or that promote hatred or violence.
- Upload content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Interfere with, scrape or try to break into the platform or other people's accounts.
- Bypass fees, limits or security features.
- Harass or abuse other users or our team.
9Content and intellectual property
Organisers keep ownership of the content they upload, such as event titles, descriptions and images, and give TicketQuill a non-exclusive licence to display and promote it on the platform. The TicketQuill name, logo, design and software belong to us and may not be used without our written permission.
10Third-party services
Our platform may link to or rely on services we do not control, such as payment providers and event venues' websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
11Disclaimers
We work hard to keep TicketQuill reliable, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of events run by organisers.
12Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, TicketQuill is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by an event or by an organiser. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
13Suspension and ending your account
You can stop using TicketQuill and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts, or remove events, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken, if required by law, or to protect users and the platform.
14Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If we cannot, disputes will be handled by the courts of [state or city], unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date on this page and, for important changes, tell you in advance. Continuing to use TicketQuill after changes take effect means you accept them.
